Stones in the Community is dedicated to improving lives across Maidstone by using the power of sport, wellbeing, and creativity to bring people together. One of its flagship programmes, FitSTONES, is a 12-week course designed to help people take control of their health. Focusing on mindset, nutrition, movement, and lifestyle, the course gives participants practical tools to make lasting changes while tracking progress through a unique wellbeing assessment.
For children and young people, the Schools Out! Holiday Club provides a safe and fun environment during school breaks. Blending sport, art, and healthy food, it ensures that families have access to engaging activities and nutritious meals throughout the holidays.
The charity also champions inclusion through the Raiders disability football programme, which supports both junior and adult players and is now one of the largest of its kind. Alongside this, Walking Football gives older adults an opportunity to stay active and connected, with a new women’s initiative encouraging participation from those aged 35 and over.
Independent from the football club itself, Stones in the Community relies on grants, sponsors, and volunteers. Its programmes embody teamwork, inclusion, and opportunity—helping people of all ages and abilities thrive.
