DAVSS is a West Kent–based charity offering vital support to anyone aged 16 and over affected by domestic abuse.
Using a community-powered volunteering model supported by professional staff, DAVSS runs a helpline and delivers face-to-face help in safe, convenient local venues.
The service includes tailored safety planning, risk assessments, and emotional support.
Trained volunteers can accompany clients to court or appointments and assist with paperwork if needed.
Clients receive help accessing housing, financial advice, benefits, counselling, and legal support through trusted referrals.
DAVSS empowers survivors to reclaim control, rebuild confidence, and make safer choices for themselves and any children affected.
By offering compassionate, non-judgmental support delivered by the community for the community, DAVSS strengthens resilience and helps break the cycle of abuse.
