The five have been scked from the party
A total of five Reform UK county councillors have been sacked by their party and will now sit as independent members of Kent County Council.
Their sacking is a result of bringing the party into disrepute and for displaying a lack of integrity.
Those asked include three from Maidstone, and one each from Adhford and Sevenoaks.
The councillors were elected to the following wards:
Bill Barrett (Ashford Rural South)
Oliver Bradshaw (Maidstone Central)
Robert Ford (Maidstone, Rural West)
Maxine Fothergill (Sevenoaks Rural, North East)
Paul Thomas (Maidstone South)
