Councillores appointed to Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority
Kent County Council (KCC) confirmed the KCC councillors appointed to the Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (KMFRA).
The councillors appointed are: Michael Brown, Dean Burns, Wayne Chapman, Spencer Dixon, Sarah Emberson, Jamie Henderson, Thomas Mallon, Terry Mole, Mark Mulvihill, Peter Osborne, Sharon Roots, Paul Webb, Nick Wibberley, Trevor Shonk, and Diane Morton.
The Leader of Kent County Council, Linden Kemkaran, said: “We take very seriously our duty to select the best and most suitable members to sit on committees.
"Kent Fire and Rescue is extremely prominent, and its members make decisions that have real-life consequences.
"I’m delighted that after conducting a thorough interview process, we’ve been able to select such a strong team to continue this important work.”
The Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority is the governing body of Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) and is responsible for the provision of the service.
The Authority currently comprises of 21 councillors appointed by Kent County Council, four councillors appointed by Medway Council, the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner, and an independent member.
