Eleven boys represented Tonbridge School at the School at the British Schoolboys’ Downhill ski races held last week in Wengen, Switzerland.
At what is one of the most prestigious venues in international alpine skiing, the team returned home with five medals, marking a successful week of competition against strong international opposition.
Standout performances came from Hamish (OH5), who claimed a silver medal in the Under-21 category, as well as two further silver medals in the slalom events on the final day of racing and a gold medal in the combined disciplines.
Ferdi (JH4) also enjoyed success, winning a bronze medal in the Under-18 slalom.
