Tonbridge: Pedestrian Seriously injured

Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought after a pensioner was seriously injured following a collision in Tonbridge. 

Kent Police was called at 12.14pm on Friday 21 November 2025, after a white Kia hatchback collided with a pedestrian in Cornwallis Avenue.

The incident happened close to the junction for Orchard Drive and the vehicle stopped at the scene. 

Patrols attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, and a man in his 70s was taken to a London hospital.

Enquiries are being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact them.

Drivers are also urged to check dashcams for any important footage, including video which may capture the car’s movements before or after the collision.
