From Sevenoaks Town Council:
We’re delighted to have a new zebra crossing on Dartford Road, which will particularly benefit students travelling to and from school, and commuters heading to Sevenoaks Station.
Delivering a safe crossing at Dartford Road has been a longstanding priority for the Town Council. We've led on and committed funding towards the delivery of this project, and we're pleased to have worked with Kent County Council to make this happen.
We've contributed funding solely from Community Infrastructure Levy income (from local developers). The project was also financed by Sevenoaks District Council's Community Infrastructure Levy income, as well as Kent County Council.
