Investigators are appealing for information following a report of a serious assault in Maidstone.

It is alleged a group of people punched and kicked a man in the High Street near the junction with Rose Yard, between 3.55am and 4.25am on Saturday 22 November 2025.

The victim was treated for head injuries before being taken to hospital for further medical attention. He has since been discharged.

One of the suspects is described as being white, 6ft and of skinny build. He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark blue jeans and black trainers.

Officers are appealing to anyone who saw a man being assaulted in Jubilee Square to contact the appeal line.

CCTV in the town centre is being reviewed and anyone with relevant mobile phone footage is also urged to get in touch.
