Household Support Fund – Open now for eligible residents in the borough 💷
The latest round of the Government’s Household Support Fund is now open and through our funding received from Kent County Council, eligible residents can apply for our Essential Carpet and Essential White Goods schemes once a successful referral has been made.
Eligible residents can also apply for an energy or food voucher to the value of £90 via KCC’s Household Support Fund.
If residents need support with applying for our Essential Carpet and Essential White Goods schemes, the professional that they are working with can contact welfare@ashford.gov.uk and our Welfare Intervention Officers will be more than happy to assist. We use two local companies John’s Carpets and Ashford Town Appliances to deliver the goods once a successful referral has been made.
Our Household Support Fund schemes are funded by the Department for Work and Pensions on behalf of the UK Government and allows us to help vulnerable households in the borough with the rise in living costs. Please visit the links below for more information and to apply.
