The Ahsford Borough Council Domestic Abuse Policy consultation is now live.

Domestic abuse affects millions across the UK every year, and we want to ensure our approach in Ashford provides the right support, safety and pathways to specialist services for those who need them.

The council is asking residents, partners, professionals and colleagues to share their views on our proposed policy, which sets out how we recognise, respond to and support people affected by domestic abuse in our borough.

Your feedback will help shape the final policy before it goes to Cabinet later this year.

Consultation closes Friday 6 March 2026.
